2023 Report to Funders
In terms of policy change, 2023 was a study in contrasts — a tale of two Americas. In some states, MVF partners won breathtaking victories. From Minnesota to North Carolina, Arizona to Wisconsin, Michigan, New Mexico, and Maine, our partners drove staggering progress that will improve millions of people’s lives. In other states, our partners were on the defense, blocking as much harmful legislation as possible. But even in some of the most challenging states like Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Indiana, Ohio, Montana, and Utah, they achieved meaningful progress.

2022 Report to Funders
Abortion rights in Kansas, Michigan, and Nebraska. Renewable energy in Minnesota and New York. Voting rights in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Michigan, and Texas. Criminal justice reform in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Healthcare in Arizona and Idaho. LGBTQ+ rights in Montana and North Carolina. Advocating for federal funding of clean energy, providing student debt relief, and reducing child poverty.
These are just a few of the hundreds of budgetary gains and policy wins for which Movement Voter Fund has provided support to more than 500 local partner organizations in 45 states over the past five years.
